Return of the SUV Moms

I'm sorry I haven't written. I really am. I thought about it every day, but I have SO much to do and no freekin time to do it.

OK, on the topic at hand. The SUV moms are back. I haven't been paying enough attention to them and for that I am sorry.

Last week, I was waiting to pick up my son and as usual my daughter was running around me in circles. To entertain myself, I listened in to the conversation of two moms standing a few feet away. They were chatting it up about their cardio kick boxing class that they had taken the day before and going over the class, the instructor, what she was wearing, the type of birth control she used and on and on.

Now, I know that I am busier than most at home moms because I work from home FT, but really. How in the HELL do these women have time to do this stuff?

Now, to give you the full picture, these are the same women who have decorated houses and can accept guests at the drop of a hat. Um, yeah. I used a carpet rake last week to push the toys over to the toybox in an effort to encourage my kids to pick them up.

I should also mention that one of the women had a toddler with her who was standing next to her. My daughter has never stood next to me. She may hop, dance, spin, twirl, crawl...but never just standing. And the other lady had a rat dog in a dog carrying case. Enough said.

Wait! I have an SUV and truck around my three boys everywhere in that thing! Why can't I be more like these ladies (she says sarcastically)? I thought that's how things were supposed to work. Oh, darn, probably bought the WRONG SUV, right?

LOL, I am the worst housekeeper but who has the time? And, besides, there are other barely breathing bodies in here that could do it, too. We ought to start a I Hate Housework club...bet we'd have a lot of people sign up!
