Domestically Challenged

The Circle of Sickness continues...

We cannot get better in our house. One of the four of us has been sick in succession for the past 7 weeks.

When will we get a break?

Right now, my daughter has a double ear infection in both ears. My husband is starting to come down with the crud again, I still have a cough and my son was sick on Christmas and Christmas Eve.

I want it all to just go away. I read that AZ is in the midst of a major flu epidemic, which is really frightening when you think about all the people with the same exact symptoms and how many of them there are.

My daughter is doing better, especially after a few doses of meds and some kiddie crack, also known as infants Motrin. Who knew that ibuprofin had the same effect in infants as speed? My daughter, once her 103+ degree fever went down, ran around my house like a bat outta hell for two hours straight.

Oh, and did I mention that the night before I was up with her until 2:30 and then 11:30 the night before that. Mommy needs some sleep!!

What a week!!!

I thought about blogging this week, I really did.

I just have been soooo darn busy!! I wanted to write, I thought of things to write about, I even thought about some of the actual words of the posts, but that's as far as it got.

I planned to get my book done by tonight, but it didn't happen. I DID get 6 whole chapters ready to edit. But unfortunately my work schedule was too hectic to give me time to work on the book.

The radio show is going GREAT!!! It has been very popular and I am thrilled about that. I am still shocked at how busy I am with the show, but I am sure it will be worth it.

So, my goal for next week is to write, even if it is only for a few minutes. It seems that the writers who blog on a regular basis, even if it is short, are better writers. I am going to test that theory.
